went up against this ugly basti'd...
Talked dirty to it the whole time
so much better
tackled the tach swap...this wasn't frivolous money, I had a NOS dash from an S4 with an ECU controlled tach, I needed to do this to even use it
went in without a fight. Swapped the indicator lights for red LED's while I was in there
Cleaned up my precious...she's still so purdy...can't wait to put her on when Speedog finishes putting the Matris carts in my forks.
Bought this today...it's a Mikuni DF62-702, the dimensions are the same as OE and the flow rate is similar.
But it has 2 outlets...I'm going to use a Y connector like this
and hopefully all will be well? I dig that it matches the OE one 'cept for being black. If it works out I'll be somewhat of a useful pioneer for something other than things to NOT do around here.

Shiiiit. You ever been there? Itals start working at like 10 then take a siesta fer like 2 hrs then mosey on back to work with a buzz for a couple more hours to then go back to the cafe after "work"(at least Florence was like this before the euro).

Carrozzeria sent me the wrong front wheel!! I didn't notice until now that I have 5 rotor mounting points instead of 6.
And I already ordered my front axle...for an S2R800, which is forks I already have and the wheel I was supposed to get...
Does anyone know if 1100/796/S4R front wheels are even compatible with the 25 mm S2R 800 forks??

5-bolt wheels are set up for a separate axle spacer on both ends.
Really, they're rings that run on seals in the wheels as well.
So the axle is different, and has an additional spacer on the right side, and a different spacer on the left side.
The S2R800 axle will work with the S2R800 forks.
The unknown at the moment is what configuration of spacers the Carrozzeria wheel is set up for.
It doesn't have the additional seals, well, at least on the one side in the pics.
What brake rotors do you have?

The rotors I have will not work. And it sounds to me as if my front speedometer won't work, nor will the S2R800 axle I just ordered.

By the way thanks for that info Speeddog. You've already told me enough to know that I won't be using this wheel.
