First shot they do look gaudy, but from the side pick up the cambelt covers. Not sure about the front shot. Problem is the rider's view, but will mirrors and controls mitigate it? Took me three sets before I settled on the 750s scrambler bars and mirrors. Can the bar's be reanodized black, charcoal or gunmetal?

Lol, I was referring to the “time to wire”
I love the bars

Where I’m at now;

Instead of rebuilding the wheel, I’m modifying (chopping up) an air box to get battery tray and Ecuador mount.
Trimming wire harness, removed all lighting from stock harness. Using all led, pourpose built V2 box is being used, no additional relays or fuses needed.

I would like to find some one who can flash my ecu due to increased compression, and airbox delete
Ran the PC before without airbox, tried to tune best possible by removing what hesitation I could, the carbon build up on a 7k motor was immense. And I don’t want to go the other direction and burn a hole in my new pistons

And agin, waiting on bits and pieces. My last gear shaft seal and oil cooler washers showed, so I get to put oil in it now
If all goes well, should be able to start it up next week, yay

If the PO ran high test in the stock motor, that could account for some of the carbon.

High compression 2V motors definitely require more octane.

No idea who's doing reflashes on the Marelli ecuadors... Grin

It was my bike, 93 octane when I could, no less then 91
Power commander doesn’t even list the bike anymore as far as resetting the unit.

What is the Sotheby’s purpose built V2 box you mention?

Lighting control module
For led turn signals, headlight dimming, on off/start, and micro switch control
Running lights and brake lights will be inline fuses

That Powercommander can be dyno tuned to your bikes pipes, pod filters and stacks. I wonder if any dynos are open in your area? Have you checked out the Dynojet PC map library? You can dowload a map and transfer it to your PCIII if it is a USB version.
Are those pods the Beast kit?

That's why the heavy carbon.

Bruce Meyers, who knows more about Ducati's than most, always recommended 87 for low compression 2V motors for that exact reason.

No sure where the Sotheby’s came from, lol
The same place as the Ecuadors bracket...damn you auto correct. Grin

The 900ie ignition curve seems more tolerant of hi comp but run your 93 MON. No maps for a 2000 model? The pods (especially small ones) without velocity stacks under them don't flow that well, so not as lean as kits like Corse Dynamics, Beast, Beast R, WASP, Ducshop, etc. With little pods clamped on the throttle bodies you might just have to play with trim or used a canned map for a 2000 model.

Starting should be without too much strain as the hot ie cams bleed off some cranking pressure.
