Well dug this thug out this morning, hasn’t seen the light of day since spring 2018. Time to freshen her up. I will try to keep it just that, but last time I tried that is didn’t stay that way.
Anywho;
As is sits, 95 frame, 2001 900ssie motor, air box delete, power commander, marchesini wheels, gecko racing rear sets, GPR exhaust.
Stay tuned kids, this could get interesting. But hopefully not. As they say, “hope is undiscovered disappointment “

Not sure, but I'd probably start my search with the forum sponsors.

Based on a google search while on the throne, it appears you can re-use the base gaskets and use Ducatibond 1215 or Threebond 1184 (cheaper and can be found in parts stores).

, the motor has about 7k on it and vert cylinder leaks pretty bad. I will try to hunt down the sealer
Still not a fan of re using gaskets of any kind
Thanks again.

Valve cover gaskets can be re-used, as well. They'll eventually need to be replaced, but a base gasket is more of a spacer than anything. It can be re-used indefinitely if sealed properly.

Read this thread:

Yes, the base gasket is often reused and will probably work unless badly bent, folded or otherwise mutilated.  Because of my overcautious nature I would, unless  ridiculously expensive or unobtainable would probably replace it.  They are not that expensive and you can get them from a dealer.  You can look here, but strangely enough they don't list an '01 900SS

That’s the issue I’m running into, an 01 ss ie isn’t listed. Also parusing through the inter web, seems to be an issue with 00-01 2v and s4
I have a new set from a 96, going to see if they fit

Make sure they're the same thickness, or you'll change the squish.
