So today kids, since it's another fine day in the zombie apocalypse we a cruising right through stuff. On to the forks
Tearing these puppies down. Haven't seen road or the light of day since 2015. And 21k miles to boot
Tools needed
32mm 6 point socket, 19mm 6 point socket
3/8 drive
And my trusty 1/2 plug in (as Speeddog puts it, undefeated) impact to loosen up the top cap without wrestling with it
And my trust bike stand, aka fork vise

I'm replacing guts with Andreani misano cartridge kit. Comes with everything

1st, lock it in, then remove 19mm cartridge bolt on the bottom of fork tube. Dat bi#ch is it there so prepare for a fight, but be nice to it, you need it. Remove slowly and make sure u have a bucket underneath ya. Pull out and drain fork

Mmmmmm, the good stuff.

Kit looks fancy. [popcorn]

After some research and comparing between race tec re valving, which uses old style internals, and Ohlins which uses all my money. Andreani was a good option, replacing everything inside to updated parts. And it was the most cost effective as well.

Thanks for the pics too! Makes it easier for me as I may wind up going this route.
