Well, Holley said my ecu passed.  No idea what was wrong with it but after installing it again and connecting my laptop it works.  It took some make the beast with two backsery to get it to be happy with a firmware update.  We also found an issue with the pedal position sensors and got that resolved.

Now I have good data in and out of the ecu and still can't get it to start up and stay running as of yesterday.  I spent some time with the software this morning and found a couple settings that needed adjusted that for sure would have an impact on startup probability.

I also found a good website on setting up and tuning startup fueling so I have some things to play with if my current config doesn't get it to light off.

More testing needed. . .

Do you have to feed this ECU a fueling map or A/F ratios?   Or are the pre-determined?

Yes to both.

They have some canned base tunes that you can make adjustments to or you can build your own.

I elected to build my own and it more or less Auto populates the map based on your injector size and engine size.

Drive by wire throttle has introduced some extra variables but I think I have a handle on that now.

More or less...... Have you considered trying one of the canned maps?  Purely to rule out any introduced issues?

I have just to say I tried. Their startup fueling and timing are pretty much the same thing the software built in my tune.

I will get it  [evil]

Well boys, we cracked the code.

By cracked the code, I mean I hired some expert help to remote into my laptop from Texas and fix my tune.  I had many things right but a few things were way not right and he was able to get that handled in like 5 minutes.  It still wouldn't fire and we determined my plugs were just cooked from being hosed with fuel and never seeing good combustion.  New plugs went in today and she lit off.

Videos below (you have to click the pic to make them play I think)  I forgot the caps on the turbos initially so it was starving for air and not doing anything.  I've been leaving these in place since the truck is in an active shop and I want to keep as much debris out of the intake as I can.

Ultimately I'll install a set of turbo saver screens and that'll be it.

I'm make the beast with two backsing over the moon right now.

My license shivers...

So it has great oil pressure, between 40 and 50 at idle.  We probably had it idling for 20 minutes and it held a max coolant temp of 207F degrees.  Radiator fans kicked on at 190 like they were supposed to.  Radiator inlet was almost too hot to touch.  The outlet was almost cold.  That aluminum radiator and those two 12" fans work *very* well.

I have the intercooler pump and fan set to come on when intake air temps in the manifold hit 90 or 100 degrees and that system also worked the way it was supposed to.

My tuner guy still has a bunch of work to do but that's what the money is for.  I picked a good guy for this and have no doubt he can get it working well.

Congrats Kev.

WRT the paid help...I figured out right away I wasn't going to be able to update this forum by myself...it's just not my wheelhouse. Paying someone who knows wtf they're doing is worth every penny.
