All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

The biggest and most important pieces did but the small pieces needed to do the job didn't. Boo!  I'm still going down to the shop tomorrow with the bike to do some shop work and maybe check out some things on the bike but I don't think the main work can be done yet. Made some Mark I tube holders tonight out of a 2x4 using a radial arm saw. They'll work fine & I can always make Mark II's later. Come on down in the late morning for a look see and maybe a test ride.  waytogo

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Sounds like a plan.  I'm dropping Alex off at work around ten, and need to get back home and suit up, but could be there around eleven or so.

See ya then, unless these early morning rain showers persist & get worse. Should be OK.

So, the much needed parts did not show up at South Seas this week. Boo!  Sad Sad bang head bang head ------ I still need to be at my shop anyway tomorrow and, that being the case, I could help out with some brake parts. (hint hint). As for my delayed parts; Plan B will be implemented tomorrow. Even though the parts have already been paid for I will still try to exercise other options so I can get this show on the road, so to speak.

Hmmm...  Brake work?  I wonder who would need that done...   Roll Eyes

So what exactly is plan B?

Don't forget to bring the extra front brake lines.

Oh, it's a secret Plan B.

Don't forget to bring the extra front brake lines.

They should still be down at your shop, in the bottom tray of your tool kit.

Any word on the remaining parts Rick?  I'm not sure if Saturday will be good for me.  Alex has the day off (first weekend day in three weeks) and we were talking about going hiking for a while.

I remember some of you guys changing wheels some time ago...and was wondering how hard would it be to go from a 4.5"/160 rim/tire combo (which I'm told my bike is) to a 5.5"/180 combo which these are (they are also supposed to be for DSS)...

Info and what not will be appreciated!
