A farmer was driving along the road with a load of organic fertilizer (manure). A little boy, playing in front of his house, noticed the smell, saw him and called, "What've you got in your truck?"

"Organic fertilizer," the farmer replied.

"What are you going to do with it?" asked the little boy.

"Put it on strawberries," answered the farmer.

"You ought to live here," the little boy advised him. "We put sugar and cream on ours."

Pretty wild how close these two versions sound.  Not to mention that Jimmy Hall is nearly 50 years older in the BBS version!  He was a snappier dresser back in 1974, though.

Snowing.

I'd post the plow guy rant again, but you've all seen it. :P

Winter by this time of year gets old.

Quote from: LMT on March 03, 2026, 03:26:35 AMI can watch the lunar eclipse from my living room window!   [coffee] I got up at 0530 to watch it happen.

We have cloud cover and rain (also 45*) here in Denver.

So we missed the eclipse, but given the conditions so far this "winter", I think we're happy with what we got.
