Thank you all who donated towards my predicament... I received about $500 from the members... If you contributed, please leave me an email address so that I can contact you and thank you personally.
Thanks,
Jordan

Brother, no need to thank anyone. I just hope that everything is starting to come back together for you. Hey, Poison is a good start. Might get flashed by some middle aged boobies

It makes you sound like Chuck f-ing Norris. New Ducati in the garage,
exploding
. You, leaping through the flames, pistol in hand.
Cooler than
fighting a mountain lion with a chain saw
?
Maybe.

I just read your post, and i hope everything keeps going well for you!
I know how much time it takes and how incredibly difficult it is to get your life back on track after losing everything in your house. (mine was a flood Jan 09 and still trying to recover $$ from the insurance)
I was recommended a Private adjuster to itemize all of your items and make sure the ins. does pay you for what your entitled to. It's possible to list out all the upgrades and components of the bike, and get reimbursed for the parts. I didn't know about these Private Adjusters, so i thought it might help someone to pass it along.
Looks like this group is really amazing! you guys really are awesome.

Its been awhile since I have posted so I apologize for that... I will post some pictures of the rebuild, which is going really well so far with no delays.... fingers crossed. The donations that were given to me were handed over to my mother, who owned the house, for her to put toward a new car. All in total she received about $7,000 in donations from the DMF, the school's she has taught at, and just other friends and family members in general.
I can't express in words the look on her face when I gave her the money and told her where it came from... And for that I am in the deepest gratitude to all of you who helped us out.
So after $55,000 worth of dry cleaning, one lucky dog who was saved, a new car for my mother, etc. it's all turning around for us, and hopefully for the better...
Thanks again to all, and I will put some new pictures up in the next few days.

Hahaha.... Definitely not another minivan... She got a Toyota 4Runner. At least you couldn't see the license plate that said "MOMRULZ," which she's had since about 1993 and was transferred to the new 4Runner. All I can say in her defense of the van was that she never bought one. They were always handed down from her mother when she wanted a new one about every 5 years, so I guess you can't turn down a free car. We are hoping to be back in the house by October at the latest. They have been working non-stop and have really given us a tremendous effort on all parts.
