This guy is too funny... make sure to read the comments at the bottom...

That's in my neighborhood, maybe I should go take a look at them. Wink

If I had a garage, I'd have probably bought them.

Someone needs to take this bike away from this guy as he truly doesn't deserve it.

At least he knows he doesn't deserve it, he's selling it because he doesn't use it.  Of course even on stands after 3 years it's going to need tires.

I'm also guessing he's single.  Not many married guys with a motorcycle, black leather couch, and large stereo speakers in their living rooms.

Okay, after berating the living-room Ducati guy, time to get back on a positive note.

Here's something worth drooling over:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/mcy/1256912442.html

One day I hope to own a bevel-head Duc.  Last year a late 70's 900SS resto project came up on Craigslist... I called 5 minutes after seeing the ad... too late, it was gone.  Oh well... maybe someday.

$10K seems a bit pricey.

Hmm... I think I need to go talk to MotoCorsa about a trade.

http://tinyurl.com/grancanyon

6200 miles and includes all three luggage cases.

I won't be able to afford a 'strada anytime soon, especially not the S-model I want (what with trying to buy a house, maybe a 4x4, taking care of other cars, dropping a wad on a new TV, etc).  This gives me my SS's great engine in a more comfortable and capable package.  Plus, if I can swing a trade (+/- a littel cash?), I wouldn't have to sell the CBR trackbike, so I still have a sportbike toy.  Could also make the CBR street legal if I really wanted to.  Go all Jon Fay-style... driving light under the bike's chin, tail/brake light, and it'd only be for daylight riding so no turn signals needed.  waytogo

Sounds like a good plan Dan.  Is the Cagiva as comfy as the Strada?

No idea... reviews say it's got a tall standover height (good for me), and a "400 mile seat", but we all know how reviews can be.  I'm gonna try to squeeze in a trip to MotoCorsa this weekend to check it out for myself.  We'll see... I've got plenty of other stuff to get done.

Getting a seat redone is easy and most stock seats suck anyway.  Don't let that decide for you.

I have never ridden Cara with the stock seat.  When I picked her up, I had already purchased the DP Gel Seat, and have put all 6900 miles on that seat... Smiley
