No comments about those low clip-ons? These are what make the bike for me. But I'd like to see a pic of the bike at full lock with the lines and reservoirs and mirrors and all that jazz...
But boy, would I love me some clip-ons. [moto]

I snatched these pics from
this thread
form BARF. Apparently, they are of a 696-style monster at Indy. Hopefully, some DMFers got some shots as well and can post up. The photobucket pics are hosted by the original poster on BARF, so I can't guarantee how long they'll last.
Man!!! I love it!!! I think it's gorgeous!!!!

That's cool but I think it would look 10x better with an aircooled 1100cc motor in there haha.

It is a crazy hot looking bike.
The clip-ons look brilliant on it, really sets the look off.
Gives me great ideas for the M1100.

Guess im old school because I still love the original monster design. That clip-on looks painful.

Slightly off topic: Since I'm not the only one who hates the radiator on the LC Monsters, I'm kind of surprised nobody has come up with a kit to "fix" it.
Essentially something like what they did on the Vyrus:
While a low slung radiator isn't the best place for it, it sure does improve the looks...

There is some nice work going on there for sure, but why in the hell would you go BACK to a quattro motor, when the testa is so much nicer. Not only from a power standpoint, but a maintenance standpoint as well.

Probably because they (or somebody) had a 996 motor gathering dust in the corner.
And I'm sure it was heaps cheaper than a testa.

It would probably hold it's own against a testa.
Monstersedici's is equipped with a race-winning 996 motor, 12-1 compression, 500 gram flywheel, Power Commander, full 57MM Termingoni race exhaust system, lightweight billet pulleys and cam covers, and aviation-grade titanium fasteners. Race-built by Bill Himmelsbach, Eurosports
