I predict Bayliss is going to get so far in front in WSBK that he'll have to strap Pedro to the Duc as a dead weight.

He'll lock up WSBK and then take Melandri's seat and sweep the remaining races to earn both the WSBK and MotoGP titles in his fairwell tour. :e:v

Bayliss's stroller only had two wheels Cool  He could do it.  Guy is my hero....Aussie power!

Oh yea, in case you didn't know which side of the fire I'm camping on.............go Stoner!

"  Valentino Rossi arrives in Le Mans, the scene of the eponymous 1971 film starring his hero Steve McQueen, hoping to emulate another of his idols with a ninetieth Grand Prix victory.  The Fiat Yamaha rider is within just one win of equalling the career total of Angel Nieto, the second-highest number of race triumphs in the World Championship´s history.

It seems inevitable that Nieto will relinquish second place in the all-time standings to the current MotoGP star, leaving Rossi in pursuit of another legend -perhaps the most legendary of all- Giacomo Agostini. The 29 year-old is aiming first for Agostini´s premier class total, an achievable figure that could be reached this season.

`Ago´s record is 68 in the premier class, so that´s just five more than me. We have the record of 90 Grand Prix wins to aim for, then the 68 MotoGP wins.´

The all-time high water mark is 122 wins, also that of Agostini and something that will be achievable at the earliest in the final race of 2009... should Rossi win every race of this and a further 18-race season.

For the 122 mark, that will be 33 more than now, so it might be difficult... but not impossible,´ he grinned.  "

Go Rossi!!!!!

Honestly though, Lorenzo is a beast omgosh. Shocked

I think Rossi's biggest problem in regaining with is rightfully his this year is his next door neighbor.

I'm happy for Yamaha and very happy for Colin. waytogo

Even though I love Ducati, the looks on their faces when questioned about Rossi is priceless. I remember the smirks on their faces last year. Nicky was a poser, he didn't win the championship, Yamaha lost it. Ducati with Stoner on it truly kicked every other bikes ass last year and I respect him as the true champion of last year. But that's last year and now that the other manufacturers bikes are closer to being on the same level rider skill is what will determine the championship. In that regard, nobody is better than the King of MotoGP.

Go Lorenzo for 2nd! Tongue

If not Stoner/Ducati, then I'm glad Rossi is having a nice come back and not by small margins - he deserves it for sure.
So does Colin finally out from under boss-man!

Lorenzo, however can kiss my ass.

Um, hello?  Did anyone see DePuniet at LeMans?  He was amazing!  Would've had 1st place if all those other riders weren't in his way!

I noticed no one is disputing the above statement, that's because you all know I'm right.  Cool

back from last place.

What-ever he beat Casey Stoner fair and square as they came in together just like the Yamaha Team did. Except the end of the race  Tongue Like book ends. I'm sure they meant to do that.
