make the beast with two backs make the beast with two backs make the beast with two backs   5pm meeting with new boss last night...... supposed to go 45 minutes

went 2 hours...he now wants me to draft an organizational structure, development strategy and mission alignment plan

for the 15+ person department they tucked me into and that I have been hiding in successfully for over 5 years

he needs to recruit a manager for us

asked me if I would consider the managing job after rooting through my resume in the company database

Told him I am 61 and not sure if I want to take on 15-20 person team and won't if I don't feel I will do justice to them

but I agreed to give him an organizational blueprint he can use....

I am seeing that org plan project as my bargaining chip to continue in unsupervised autonomy

without whining bags of human flesh looking at me to settle their various hashes for them
This is an insult to the Pez community
