Due to staff cuts in the government sector thanks to a clown recently elected here in state politics my wife's hours have been more than halved so I am coming out of retirement and looking for work! Oh well good while it lasted!

it's for my direct boss and he is typically hands off with me as he knows I can manage my stuff usually
he knows I'm overloaded now and this is ammunition to angle for good stuff for me and to provide protection if shit hits the fan on some projects

I'm currently irreplaceable
fully aware that is theoretically impossible but in this case it is true and I'm trying to resolve that as that is a bad position for the company
the gap of knowledge right now between me and the next people down is ridiculously vast right now
