that's true.

I'm still stuck at work. We've been in for 3 hours. I got to cut my guys loose almost 90 minutes ago. I'm "standing by" while a question gets answered that should have been answered 6 hours ago about whether I have to come back in 3 1/2 hours... Incompetence is a sum of a beyotch...

Mornin' TiNi, DD & Freshie  ;D

I learned a lot this weekend...

2-up on a Monster 750 while riding the hills & valleys of WV being out-powered by EVERY other bike on the trip does interesting things to the Monster.  [laugh]

1.  Rear tire now needs to be replaced
2.  high-speed sweepers are an exercise of complete trust by A) my passenger in me, and B) me in my tires
3.  Hard cornering results in this interesting oscillation
4.  Tight, deep bowl 2nd gear turns with small rises between them require very careful thorttle application between turns
5.  Even the smallest bump under heavy throttle leaned over results in a slight pushing of the front
6.  Riding in the pouring rain on roads covered with dirt, clay dust and gravel becomes an exercise in controlled sliding moreso than riding
7.  You won't get past 100mph 2-up w/ a headwind
8.  Even 2-up & outpowered, chasing down a Daytona 955i is fun
9.  The Monster 750 is tough as nails considering how hard it was run this weekend trying to stay with a herd of 100+hp bikes riding solo

Sounds like fun!

I rode my ST on saturday for the first time this season.  Reminded me how much more fun 916cc is than 695cc.  [evil]

I'll bet the ST is a fun ride!  My fiancée is really wanting her own ride now.  We're looking into some options, a few have said my 750 would be ok, but IMO it's a bit unpredictable with too much throttle or too quick off the clutch which are typical new rider issues.  We're looking into Ninja 500's & GS500's but can't find any used ones locally ~

It took a little bit of time, but my bf and I found a GS500 for me that I love.  More than a few told me that I should get right on my 620, but I was not entirely comfortable yet.  The GS500 is definitely bringing up the comfort level.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

your "time of the month"?
