that sucks pip..when i lived in bama, i was only there for 2 years & there were atleast 2 or 3 tornadoes that touched down & caused severe damage nearby each year i was there..the warning sirens are the worst!!

i always found it funny when people there would find out i was from cali & they would ALWAYS say "how do you handle all those earthquakes??" ..yet ive never felt an earthquake ever in my life

This is the second time this year a confirmed tornado has jumped my neighborhood.
Thank God for good topography I guess.

Never felt an earthquake? I'd say you are pretty lucky as well!

Someone sent me a recipe for bacon jam. 

I made it yesterday.  Doubled the recipe.  I officially hate this Minion of Martha Stewart. 

It is so yummy, I want to eat ALL of it! 

Something like three pounds of bacon, maple syrup, brown sugar, etc...

The cluster of quakes you mentioned is in Geyserville. They are essentially man-made quakes caused by drilling for natural gas.
