morning

fitted the skidplate from my pile of KTM parts to the SMC, had to remove the bottom engine mount bolt and lift the engine a 1/4 inch to get the ubolts around.
me thinks the water pump doesn't work on it, so I'll probably take that apart today to take a look at it

I just roll one of the other bikes next to it and put the sidestand on the bead. Then I yank a wee bit-breaks it with ease.

So, put a spare bike in the traveling tool kit, too.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I lay the tire under the hitch on my truck.  Flip my scissor jack upside down, and break the bead with the jack.  Once the jack starts to push up on the truck, the bead gives.
