Temporarily... :-\  As we were standing inside the building yesterday looking up at our day's work I commented to my BIL that the roof was leaking. ;D

This away from home thing is old already.

Don't know how Randimus does it.

All the trusses are up?  No big problems?

The engine is an LS3 found in the Corvette.  Transmission is a GM TH400.  The idea is that you should be able to find replacement parts quite easily that way.

They weld the frames up, and the customers spend two 3-day weekends helping to assemble their ride.  It takes another 4-5 weeks to complete the vehicles with wiring & such after that.  I thought it was a pretty cool concept.

Starting price is $74,900.  They told me they can get even pricier with options (audio, carpet, etc.).

I missed the string on two trusses by a little...we might be able to cut the plate nails and whack them over. It'll be fine.  ;D

The working conditions were miserable, but we toughed it out.

The gable end trusses are built at a different elevation. The crane operator said he sees it all the time and the elevation is corrected with the ladders. Seems stupid to 'engineer' a system that needs to be corrected that much in the field. Tom, the BIL, will discuss it with his supplier.

Yes he will.

They put on a shindig at the Crete Center in Plattsburgh and made a batch of DIMBY cider.

Naturally it went over really well.
