you see, maduros are sliced diagonally and deep fried . . . "platanos en tentacion" are fried in [lots of]butter with cinnamon, some people add a dash of cooking wine I personally for daily use don't add but, for special occasions I will add a dash of rum . . . me and rum . . .also, some people boil the plantain with butter and cinnamon sticks . . .to make it "healthier" . ..
