Yah. How did the painting go?
I got about half of the downstairs cut in. I'll finish tomorrow, maybe, and roll the field.

Ya know...

I bought one of those edger thingy's and a corner tool thingy...

now I have to touch up the ceiling. If I wasn't inside they would have been flung...really really hard...and far. They're sitting in a bucket of water right now.

A sash brush is just as fast and I can stay off the ceiling.

I'll live through it...just one more thing to check off the list. ;)

I'm not very good with a sash brush, but I'm way better with that than one of those edgers

Brushes are archaic...

I'm a spray painter, but the ceilings are done...way too much o/spray to even give it a try.

It will all be fine. Once I'm done I'll stop looking...I hope QC does too. :P

No luck with that?   They seemed so cool when I was 12.

I've been using a Purdy 3" wall brush as of late.  My favorite is a 14yo Sherwin contractor 3" wall brush identical to the one we were dusting the pine with.  Only difference is the filaments are tapered much better so it cuts a real nice line.  I really like sheer amount of bristles and the extra length.  Holds a LOT of paint so I'm in the bucket much less.

I'd brush and roll before I tried to spray inside.  Maybe spray the primer...

How's it heating in this weather?  Moisture levels OK with all the paint?

The drywaller sprayed...all one color. ;)

Right now the humidity is around 40% and has stayed that way throughout the process. There was a little condensation on the windows as all the mud and primer were drying, but that's gone now.

At 0 degrees the boiler is running, but at a really low firing rate, I think. At 40 degrees it doesn't run much at all.

Interesting that all day today, with the sun shining, the sunroom didn't call for heat while the other zone did.
