I think a V4  would be cool. The F150 has an aluminum body.

Until you go get a dent repaired. Most shops do not have the equipment of skills to work with AL yet. The ones that do also have separate rooms as the AL can't be contaminated with iron dust. With that investment comes the labor rate to recoup those cost of tools, training, and isolated area of the bldg. currently shops charge about $60 per labor unit/hour. AL rates are nearer to $130.

In many cases insurance companies will total out repairable vehicles as they don't want to see a rise in labor rates as this rise could affect the prevailing rate and thus would cause the standard rate to rise.

It will be interesting to see how long the F series remains in AL.

Seller has finally responded to last modification of contract.

We are now officially under contract.   [thumbsup]

I don't have any photos available, but if you google 36 Abbott rd Buffalo, NY you can see the 1-story building at the corner of Heussy and the 2-story behind it.  Both will be ours.

The next hurdle is housing court on Feb 5.  The property currently has 5 outstanding building code citations that will be fixed as part of our renovations.  We plan on fixing as many of the violations as possible before the court date, to show good faith that we are responsible property owners, in hopes of convincing the judge to dismiss the charges.  Our lender will likely not approve the mortgage with the outstanding citations.

Not completely out of the woods yet, but closer.

The fog burned off here and now there is a beautiful sunset. The high today was the mid to high 40's.
