I was in Ireland during their summer back in the 1990s. It was 18C and they were dropping like flies! I had a sweater on. People were swimming! I don't get into shorts until its 30C.

I rarely wear shorts, even when working outside in the heat.  It commonly hits 30ºC here in the summer.  However, we get down around -15ºC in the winter.

-15C. Ouch. 30 is nice. In the middle of our summer, I ride first thing in the morning while its fresh, it's beautiful that time of the day before it gets really hot. Its only wildlife you worry about then. Have breakfast with riding mates and back home as the teenagers are waking.

My right index finger hurts. I have a happy hour consult with a doctor on Friday. It is intermittent and on a 1 to 10 scale the pain can be a 4 or 5 at times.

In a crappy mopey mood tonight. I need to go have some fun.
