It's too bad I have to go to a 3/4 ton in order to get a diesel.  That and the diesels are a $8,000 option.

The Territory is a big floppy barge (albeit at the right price, so no complaints ;)).  But since I have the option in a few months......  I'm internet tyre-kicking.

Keep coming back to Mazda 6 diesel wagon.  Frugal.  Nicely appointed.  A great drive by all accounts......

For a touch of insanity, I like the turbo nutter bastard AWD Volvo V60 T6R too... but... even smaller boot than the Mazda and there's no spare wheel unless you lug one around in the already too small boot  :-\.  Too few servicing dealers....  the same euro-lazy LHD column stalks which shitted me to death on the Mondeo.  Performance... and fuel bills to match  [evil].  The more sensible diesel V60 D4 does nothing the Mazda doesn't do better.  And costs way.... way more.

I wish we could get more smaller diesels here in the states.  I want a diesel for towing, but the only way I can get one is going with the larger trucks.  The Dodge is basically a pickup sized road tractor.
