AKA the story of the aluminum pole

duccarlos

My Focus is still on it's stock summer tires and running strong. If I would get the RS, AWD goodness, I doubt the tires would last more than 10K. I drove the Escape a few times during my Canadian winter. It managed everything remarkably well, even when I was getting it sideways on purpose. Rental cars are the best.

I quite like playing the "what car would I have next" game....  although there's nothing..... I find desirable enough (within the realms of possibility) to make me want to abandon the Ford Aus Floppo-barge I currently drive.  It's really a pretty decent thing.

Wonder if GK bought new wheels yet.

I like that game too Ung.

As yet I believe I'll go another year or so in my trusty wagon.

They're releasing the Ford Everest here in the third quarter and the Ford Edge next year.

Everest is built on the Ranger platform and the Edge is on the Mondeo. Both look good and are packed full of goodies. Price point will be interesting.

You can't go making such gross assumptions just because Polish potato vodka is the preferred embibement of the host.
FTR...

I've recently fallen for a product of the USA...

some Tito's shit or something. ;)

evening

We now own an Escape AWD...and a much larger payment.

At least that POS Fiasco is down the road and not my problem any more

Is the US product cheaper?

If so, drinking at the normal rate may save cash to put to the extra payments for the Escape! Congrats.

BTW, your Escape is our Kuga! Nice bit of kit! Congrats.

Which engine did you go for? The 2.0 EB is a cracker of an engine.

Morning all.

It's too easy Nate, just sign here. ;) I nearly bought a 916SP that way once.
Congrats on the car. It'll handle the frost heaves much better.

Daughter had a nice birthday dinner. Not sure if she will have a big shindig later. If she has a big piss up with her friends I'll have to make sure I get there and make a speech. ;D
I passed on all the DMF well wishes. She thankful for the all the parts donated and sold cheaply from the good members of the DMF.

Pity about the rain bro.

Sounds like good family dinner was had.

DMF parts suppliers are most handy!

Rain is indeed a pain. I haven't ridden for over two weeks.

If there's a break in the rain I'm getting out there.

Nate, Ung. I still haven't convinced that customer to get the Mikuni kit for his BSA. Despite a rebuild kit the LHS carb is buggered. Maybe today.

I appreciate easy Tony. Hard is too much work.

The upside is this dealer is pretty much like family.

I still need to climb into the barn loft and dig out that seat. I haven't forgotten
