Had a few beverages with the (not too) surly KnightofNi last night.  Was good to catch up with him again for a few hours.

No new metal, or other modifications other than a tat.

In other news:   A crazy work week was topped off yesterday with a guy tripping on nothing outside at our office hitting his head on a metal gate.  Six hour spinal surgery last night and still can't feel anything from the neck down.   Further proof anything can happen in a nano-second.    Yeesh.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Nope.  Was in vail for a day or two then Denver for a few hours last night.  Headed west late this morning.

Text him to hide all that weed he picked up really well or the checkpoint coming into cali might find it.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

If you take the first Truckee exit you can drive down the street and bypass the checkpoint.

Probably better than the time we cut across the desert.

No, don't ask.

They upgraded and moved the checkpoint to make it harder to avoid so you need to take Exit 194 and do some meandering.

Mendo, I think you got the inspiration for your short story from Night Ranger's "You Can Still Rock In America". . . . too many parallels . . .Just that, in the song, main character is a girl . . .

Actually I just copied the whole thing, made a few punctuation changes and changed the main character to a guy.

Going to re-record it as "You Can Still Plagerize In America"?
