The phone woke me an hour early. Still snowing...no school.

I think LMT has the right idea with a vacation week.  Didn't want to be here yesterday and after last night don't want to be here now.  :P

There is no max. There is, however, a contractual cutoff date at the end of the year for the teachers. The Superintendent was alluding to a plan the school board has approved to solve the conundrum.

You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

There's a blizzard showing up?  Or that's code for you ordered ice cream blizzards from DQ?

Our fires have started though so there's that (flatiron #1).

And I pulled the trigger today on a trailer/jogger for the "damn dog" in this household so he can go further in comfort and style.   [roll]


Headed out to an old converted mortuary turned restaurant with a former colleague (water bottles are old embalming fluid bottles).  Food is ok, atmosphere is a little better....I failed at making any death/dinner jokes with this one, sorry.

This daylight savings time nonsense can kiss my ass. Can't get these kids to sleep when they should be.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
