Why is it so hard to find conscientious dog sitters?    
Inexpensive and available ≠ quality and a contented pup.


Full price verbal offer on the condo (haven't accepted yet), trying (& failing) to get stuff moved out (too big and bulky for one person to move); scrambling to get work done, scrambling to get condo ready for two days of an open house this weekend and I'm nearly certain no one will show.


Negative Nancy here needs to go to bed and focus on optimism tomorrow.

The old business adage is pick two and call me back.

Any reason to not accept the offer?

The friend/dog-sitter started a small fire two visits ago (left papers on the stove top, turned a burner on and walked away), earlier this week, the pup had diarrhea but didn't reach out to ask about it and barely cleaned the mess.  Just two of a few weirdo things.   Sheesh.  No wonder my dog can't get over his separation anxiety.  ha.


I told the woman who gave me the verbal offer that I was accepting best and final written offers after I had my first open houses this coming weekend.   IF anyone shows up, there's a chance, like Mary mentioned, I might get a better offer. 

She's interested enough that she asked I let her know what comes in to allow her to counter.   But for all I know, she may be off her rocker and wandered away from "the home".   I need to see this weekend through. 

And for all the cleaning and rearranging and updates, I WANT people to see this place, dammit!  I worked me ass off!

I was doing some research for my boss and realized that RAM has paid state OSHA just over 76K in PPE violations. They could have bought a lot of safety glasses, sheilds, and FR coveralls with that money

Nice work!   I admire people who have families but still take the time to learn more and then ace their courses. 

Keeps me from complaining (too much).


In my scramble to perfect everything before anyone shows up this weekend, I found one of my floor lamps is all jacked.   Compliments from who knows what dog sitter.   And over the course of the past few years, clothes have gone missing, a plate from a unique 4-piece set is missing (presumed broken and thrown out), missing plastic containers (I don't have many of those to begin with so it's noticed).

WTF.
