Apparently, insomnia decided to make a visit tonight.

Absolutely pouring outside right now.  Crazlo would probably call this a light rain.

Probably need copious amounts of [coffee] later.  At least I can sleep in a bit as I had a two video conferences with Japanese colleagues yesterday evening, so I need to balance hours to avoid OT  [roll].

I took my dog (a Bulldog) out this morning like every morning. normally it takes 30 seconds for her to pee and tear my yard up scratching. Today she takes off around the garage and is gone for a couple minutes. I hear rustling and I figure she found a racoon or oh sh*t a skunk. Nope, she runs back around the corner of the garage with a HUGE coyote close behind.  They actually look like they were playing. Saw me and took off into the woods

Freaked me out at 5:30 in the morning in my boxer shorts.

My jackass brother has a friend from Tennessee coming to work with him. So he invited him down to the cape.

No problems bro, just invite a stranger from an area spiking with covid to come spend time with my unvaccinated kids. Don't ask or anything.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
