So sorry JM. I'm glad that you're kinda feelin better. Ankle was too sore today to go for that ride I planned so maybe I'll head up to visit another time.

Yea, I was kinda irritated at myself for banging up myself Friday.  Mostly because if you were able to ride up Saturday, I wasn't going to be able to ride at all, I was having a hard time just walking.  I still can't walk straight.  I'll post up some pics of the trails I was riding Friday though.  It was fun, makes me recall just how much I love a 2-stroke ~

Which Micheline's are you running?

I've been using Power Races and they are hands down the most awesome tire Ive been on yet.  I got them used from a WERA guy with 20 laps on them.  Ive had this stack for a couple years now, and I still use them.  They still stick like glue.  Ive gone as far as wearing off the grooves on the one side down to the wear bars.  Then I wore off the wearbars ;D  They still stick, even with no tread and they're old.

I can only imagine what a new set would do.

Front's seem to last forever.  Then again, ive never been too hard on fronts.  My habit with fronts has been 2 or 3 trackdays, and then 3-4000 miles on the street.

Power race = best tire ever
The bike had trackday power races on it. The tires were manufactured 3 years ago.

On my 750 I was running 5-10 year old tires with no problems.

I put a PRC front on it...triangulated to help turn in...in a soft compound which is the only compound available in that tire, and a medium power race trackday rear. The race carcass tire is almost $100 more.

This is not the behavior we expect from you ducpainter.

Oh, wait.

By "not the behavior we expect" I really mean we'd be surprised if you weren't bathing in Vodka
