Rofl,  naw, he just Novocained the shit outta me, I was supposed to be a simple extraction, as it had already come in.  

Unfortunately there was a small hook that the xray missed, he had to break it in half and wrench for half an hour.

I was lucky enough to be completely unconscious when I had mine out. All four at once, the day before classes started junior year of high school.

I kept the teeth in a film canister under my pillow for about a week. Then one morning at breakfast I complained that the tooth fairy was slacking.

My dad looked across the table at me and, in a really low, serious voice said "The tooth fairy paid for your anesthesia."

"Oh... Ok. Well, tell him I said thanks."

Hahah  nice one Obsessed!  I had the same procedure.  Bit the nurse in an unconscious raving while still half under and when she tried to re-pack the gauze I spit out ~

I can see why people demand being unconscious, the sound of crunching tooth traveling up your jaw is a bit discomforting.


I actally have to go fill a vicoden and Amoxicillin prescription, I just didnt have time on the way back to the office.

What really kills me is no coffee, and no food. If I had know I was going to have it pulled, I would have ate more.

I just finished one of my licensing exams! Whee!

Two more this month. 

No coffee? Ouch. Drugs?
I had antibiotics when I had my teeth pulled. It made me barf (with a mouthful of gauze too), so I quit taking them.

Yeah, I definitely prefer general anesthesia.

With novacaine I'm just more likely to do stupid stuff while I still can't feel. Oh, and drool.
