Me too. ;)

For hummus, it tastes 10x better fresh than the pre-made stuff in the store.  Fresh Baba ghanouj is yummy too. [thumbsup]

seriously, how hard is it for you make the beast with two backsing people to use the TOSAT thread?  really.

I spend so many make the beast with two backsing hours trying to neaten this place up and make sure the other admins aren't snipping at each other and billing the sponsors and banning asshats, and you folks, who should clearly know better, get all liquored up and just post whatever the hell you want wherever you want to post it and somehow think that because you've been around for a while (or own the domain) you can just get away with it!

It's people like you who bring this place down.  unmake the beast with two backsingbelievable!

And the weather isn't helping!   it's so wet in here the walls are sweating!  years of nicotine that leached into the paint just comes dripping down in brown streaks the likes of which are usually only found on the pavement behind Rossi's tire or in white trash trailer park underwear.

It makes the back of my forehead sweat, and nothing says sexy like a bald grumpy attorney with a wet head staining the backs of his collars with head sweat.  Pisses me off!  ANd how the make the beast with two backs am I supposed to drink my tequila when there's so much condensation that there's a stream running off the glass and down my desk.  Legal pleadings don't unstain and dry themselves gad damnit!

It's like walking through a hot fettid cloud.  LIke my St Bernard is panting in my face after running to fetch the mail, which is all wet and nasty because of the make the beast with two backsing humidity anyway so it just fell apart so what's the use.

And you can't ride in this shit!  might as well just wear my leathers to the gym and hang out in the small sauna where the guys still don't understand what towels are for..NO TWIG AND BERRIES ON THE BENCH YOU make the beast with two backsING NITWITS!

Sooo glad its Friday.  So I have this 07 GT3 at work that the customer is complaining has an intermittent rattle behind the dash after 30 minutes of driving.  GT3s are known to have squeeks and rattles because they have no sound deadening material to keep em light.  They are also very stiff because they are basically a race car with license plates. Car owner insists this is an abnormal noise and since he is a good customer I oblige and tell him I will fix it, even though the owners manual states that these cars rattle.  So I have been driving it on and off during the week searching for the noise.  Drove it home for lunch a couple of times, About a 10 minute drive, no noise.  So yesterday I took it on a longer drive, bout and hour.  Sure enough about halfway in the car started rattling behind the dash.  Sounds like a can of pencils shaking around.  Turn off the A/C and the noise is still there.  Pull over and as soon as I stop the noise goes away.  Take off again and it comes back.  So I am in the process of systematically pulling the dash out of this car and test driving as I go along.  Yay.

Next car.  08 Cayenne Turbo.  Instrument cluster no workie.  Pull this car in and the dash is lit up like a christmas tree.  Guages don't work and the damn warning chime wont turn off,  DING, DING, DING in my head the whole time.  So I start by pulling codes.  Every single control unit along the Can Bus network has about 10 fault codes with the instrument cluster and Gateway having around 20 each.  Great.  Well I start digging and decide that the cluster is probably the culprit and corrupting all the other control units.  Start fault tracing the instrument cluster, have good power and ground, Can high and lo are working and are transmitting data.  Spent about 3 hours fault tracing and retracing to make sure I was being thorough.  Start a paper trail with Porsche North America so they know whats going on and to cover my ass.  It all points to an internal problem with the instrument cluster.  Just as I'm about to order one my regional FTM (field technical manager) calls me on my cell and we discuss the car.  Apparently this car has been around the block a few times for this same problem and now its in my lap.  We go over all the data together and both concur that the problem is coming from the cluster.  Well fast forward to today and I have the new cluster installed but it won't program to the car.  None of the other control units along the Can Bus recognize it.  So here we go again.  Out comes the $500 DVOM again and the $150 test lead set and I get to work....... What is up with all the negative threads?  Don't you people have better things to do? >:(

I log into the forum for my daily dose of happy affirmation, and all I see now are rants dragging everyone down. :P

sounds frustrating.

Good luck fixing it.
