That is the M1000SS.  SuperSport rear suspension grafted onto a 2003 M1000 frame.  Today's project is a stock suspension'ed M695 that got a motor transplant and some other cool bits.

PM me some pics and a description of what's going on.  I'm busy today but only in 'spurts'.  My brain can only handle so much wiring work at one time and I use the DMF to break up the wiring.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

fine...here's the short version of what i sent him

i bungled it again.

i somehow moved the crank as i was putting the flywheel on and the piston is not TDC when the flywheel is in position. now i cna't get the flywheel off.

however, the bent valve is not my fault. i didn't try to actually start the bike (but i did turn the key and see allt he lights come on. it was a great feelign to know i hooked all the electrics back up properly)
anyone have a 620 head they want to let go really cheap?

Bored....demonstrating 3 units to a commisioning agent, that means I tell him my readings and he goes and verifies the actual conditions while I sit on my hands.

i cna't afford $175 right now. (notice i said cheap)
it needs to be closer to $100 to start with.  :-[

i put the nut on with a torque wrench with a really long handle and used a penny to stop the gears from turning.
the penny was toast afterwards.

I've crushed pennies because they were too thin...  Nickels work too.

Hey Knight...

When you get the head off, let me know.  I have some 750 valves here that could possibly fit your 620 head but I don't know if they changed the valve diameter or stem length.  Measure up the bent one and let me know....
