oh hell yes! i don't know about crows though...
the deer hate it, and so do i sometimes i forget to turn it off

It's ok ..I'm used to being laughed at.

neither are raccoons...

you know when the corn is ripe though.

First sign of raccoon damage you head out and pick what's left.

probably 40ft...

when our garden was bigger we used one on each corner,
it can't "see" through obstructions... like plants, fence, etc...

i'd like to add that it also scares away unwanted solicitors

A friend of mine plants his corn in old skidder tires with a bottom put in them.  He picks them up with a fork bucket and puts them in the garage at night to keep the coons out

Don't think it will work in corn for 'coons then.

his dogs help with the problem as well...
they are trained to hunt.

i gotta go gear up!
