I'm sorry...

if an employee can't abide by a companies safety policy and costs the company money in fines because they feel like they are 'above' the rules...

they really shouldn't be able to expect to keep their job.

They should go out on their own and make their own safety policy and pay workers comp rates based on their 'experience'.
