well, that would be the ultimate situation

im looking at a bike that's some distance away and one option is fly down and ride home.

the last half of that trip would suck it big time

well it's going to be some time before i can ride again ... need to order shims to do a valve job somehow the exhaust shim on the horizontal cylinder worned itself away in about 1000kms after last check/adjustment ... and that was the cause for 'click click click' noise i was hearing ...

i can never ride this bike for more than two/three weeks at a time without something happening to it or to me !!!!!!!!

well something wore down to the point where when exhaust valve is closed ... still moves up/down ... i ordered the kit that cost around $400 that  comes with 'all' shims ... well, actually a friend order it for me ...

collets? ... remeber, I'm my own tech ... doing the job with the former dealer's tech on his spare time, that means, from Sunday to Sunday ...
