Yesterday I found it hard to like anything about Massachusetts beyond the radio stations.

Went to see DMB (yes, with Timmy) at the Comcast Center. Took 4.5 hours to get there in the insanity that is Mass traffic. Concert ended at 11:00. Finally started rolling through the bottleneck of cars and drunks in the lot at 1:00. Got home at 4:30.

Loved Dave, for sure. Excellent performance! The Comcast Center is teh suck.

Anyone want to buy tickets for The Police with Elvis Costello on July 31st? They're for lawn seating.

When I could see past the chain smokers in front of me, and hear over the bellowing of the drunk guy behind me, the show was great!

Is it me, or does Mass have a high concentration of obnoxious people? I guess living up here in my quiet little corner of the world has left me with little tolerance for the rowdiness and dumbmake the beast with two backsery of some city folk.

Does that mean I'm getting old?

i took this job in hopes that i would advance quickly (move to a manager position), or get another one.
to move up in position would mean i would have to go above my boss (who should not be in his position in the first place), but it doesn't look like they would allow that to happen (been here 20 years, they won't fire the guy)

so... im doing option "B", which is a whole hell of a lot better in the long run (closer to home, same if not better pay, stable work environment, great bennefits, great reputation)...
