That would be my guess. I know 1 of my Dad's friends has something similar due to a bad knee that can't support a bike.  Anything to keep on riding.

I have seen those. I would go with a sidecar rig, one of those that still allows the bike to lean. Either that, or sell my bikes and buy a lotus caterham.

I always get mixed feeling when I see disabled guys riding a trike or something... sad because they're not able to ride a 2-wheeler anymore, but extremely happy that they have chosen to overcome and found a way to keep riding.

Sweet! I paid less than that for my S4rs last year and it's just under 5100 miles on the odometer now.

Yes and no.

If it's had new belts (recommended every 12,000 miles or 2 years) and a valve job (every 6,000 miles), and none of its rockers are flaking, then it's a steal.

If not...
