Stay in your seat for the Cote/Almeida fight, bro.  It should be a good one.  Likewise, the Griffin/Aurelio fight; those little guys can scrap!  Please let Melvin get knocked the make the beast with two backs out!!  Please!?!

Well, who saw Griffin shock the MMA world last night.  I said all along that Griffin was taking the fight way more serious than Rampage and it showed.  Rampage didn't look out of shape or anything but he just seemed not as sharp as he usually does.  Griffin on the other hand, looked awesome and had a great game plan.  Those leg kicks really hurt Rampage and probably won Griffin the belt.  All in all a very good fight and I can't wait for the rematch.  I wonder if Rampage is going to own up on his bet that the fight wouldn't go to decision.

The rest of the show pretty much sucked though.

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard the Koschek / Lytle fight was really bloody.  I'll have to get my copy from my homeboy's hard drive later today.

Looks like I whiffed on my Rampage prediction.  Kudos to Dana White for finally getting one of his TUF discoveries to the pinnacle.  The man is looking like a marketing genius these days.

Yeah Boy!!! I called it. Griffin is pimp! Everytime I see him fight he has improved his skills. I have yet to see him come to a fight umimproved from the last fight. He learns and takes lessons from each fight, win or lose. Go Forrest!!!  [popcorn] [thumbsup] [clap]

Jackson sucks. That was a terrible fight for him. Where was the rampage? No where. Exactly why the ref should of let that liddel fight go on so rampage could get his ass beat.

There were two good fights there. I'll never pay $55 again. Split between me and a buddy but still. Even with 5 guys I dont' think it's worth it.
I never really watched too much MMA, but a couple friends are into it and I've seen some pretty good bouts in the last couple years.

Just watched Griffin/Rampage.  Went just the way I thought it would.  Knew that if Griffin could stay outside he'd snatch the decision.

Anyway...

Anybody buying Affliction later this month in the DC/Baltimore area?

Whatever, bro.  That fight went right down the line.  Rounds 3-5 were close, and the agression and control that Griffin's leg kicks imposed, are what tipped the scales for him.  Great fight.  Rampage was definitely cautious, respecting Forrest's striking ability.  I'm surprised that Rampage didn't train more to deal with Forrest's ground game but, he's always had a crappy guard.

I'm looking forward to the Huerta fight as much as the GSP fight.  I love watching that guy fight.  He's non-stop aggression.

There is going to  be at least three great fights tomorrow.

Jon Fitch will give GSP a good fight but I see GSP submiting him in the 3rd.

Lesnar is going to knock out Heath Herring in the first or get submitted in the second.

I'm going out on a limb saying Kenny Florian is going to beat Huerta by knock out.  This will be the fight of the night.  Both of these guys love to bang.  And as Florian always says "I finish fights"

GSP FTW.  Krotty pwnage!

Gimme KenFlo, too.  I like the thinking side of Florian's game.

Ocf course, all it takes is one punch but I don't see Florian having that kind of luck on his side with Huerta.  Florian is going to be a tough opponent and I like him but it's not going to be his day!   [thumbsup]

I didn't give Lesner's fight a second thought.  The guy is an oof. He'll probably win but who cares?!   [roll] ;)
