The cars I really want are almost never sold in the United States.

A 5-door 6-speed manual MkV Golf R32. We only got the 3-door and DSG.

A Jetta SportWagon (Golf Estate everywhere else) equipped with 4-motion AWD and the 6-speed manual. We only get FWD.

A 2010+up Subaru Legacy Touring. We no longer get the Legacy wagon in the US. Only the big wallowing Outback - which is itself de-contented and re-configured poorly for the US market. And why, Subaru, have you not offered the 2.0 Turbo Diesel in the USA? Have you not noticed that VW sells every single TDI they can ship over here, and never with any discounts or incentives?

Hey Audi... how about offering the US the 3.2 V6 or 2.0 TDI paired with a 6-speed manual and Quattro in either the A3 or A4 Avant?

because of the kind of driving I usually do, I like little European cars. I'm a fan of the fiat 500, the mini cooper S (what I'm driving now) and when I need to haul cargo, something like the original Subaru Forester.

the difference between rental cars and 4x4's is that a rental car will go anywhere.   [evil]
I flipped a jeep in Nevada twice, drove it to the side of the road and told the insurance company I pushed off the road....of course I took the full insurance out.  :o
