Simply Fantastic. We are really glad to have moved here. Next up; TRACK DAY. (Well as soon as I recover from the insane expense of moving from HI) [bang]

So....riding in circles on a small island-is it like Nascar but on bikes?  :-*

Which of the many tracks are you picking?  ;D
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

There were some decent twisties on the Big Island, but the island is the size of Connecticut and you had to ride a long way to get to them.

There a definitely a lot more great spots here but the quality of the road surface was WAAAAYYY better in Hawaii. Plus with Hawaii being closer to the equator the turns felt tighter. (I wonder if any will buy that) :P

Which track? No clue yet. I probably will do some instruction first. I'm hopin' to make it down to your place for a few hours for DIMBY.

You're kidding right?  The roads here on Oahu are in ridiculously poor shape.

Yep. Oahu was bad. Big Island was better.

Here is just unbelievable. Every road I've been on is BAD! Patches over patches over patches, Bumps, dips, potholes, things that don't even have names yet. I'm tellin' you it is shockingly bad.  I can only assume it is because the state is destitute.

But I still really dig it here.

zoso, that Hyper kicks ass.

For me the new 1198 and 848 look to much like Jap bikes.  The old monsters rule and the new ones will change IMO, when I don't know.  The big BUT here for me is how they are introducing a half-Tard at only 2K less....no my cup of tea but I do and will buy the full-Tard.  The streetfighter is sexy but my S4R is too still the classic look I want and the insurance, God the insurance.

My next bike may very well be the new Multi and a Sport Classic but the S4R will NEVER leave the garage, no way no how.

Frankly I think Ducati has lots a bit of it's edge on the superbike field.  The RSV looks bad ass and the prettiest of the bunch for me that is.

And Massimo still used clay when he did this ;D

Not to mention consulting with Italy's most respected manufacturer of pipe organs, to learn about the timbre and harmonics that different shapes and sizes of tubes can impart onto the bike's exhaust system.   [thumbsup]

If we lined it up next to a bunch of the other I4's including the S1000RR and started blipping throttles could you tell the difference?
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Who knows.  Just the fact that he did it is cool in my books.
