Not sensing the fear...

;D

"License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote."

Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

I normally go for function over form but JJFU made an awful damned purty 1911...

Just meant that this is one firearm i would buy simply because of how good it looks, function be damned (not that it isn't a fully functional piece of art).

I want to apologize to all the local rodents in advance. CZ 455 22lr Tacticool. It goes to the smith for some polishing and threaded barrel for the 'can'
Would you mind telling a woodworker about the table in your picture.

That's wood from an early 1800's barn. I'd be grilling woodpecker if one showed.  :D

With all the talk about about purity guns and nice timber, I thought I'd post up my new-to-me Cooper 6mm PPC.  Ought to be pretty accurate.  I'm going to take it over to the Cooper factory in a few weeks for a going over.  Got a Nightforce 6-32x scope for it.  I've never worked up wildcat rounds before so I guess I have some learning to do about neck turning and fire forming brass etc etc.

Slight change of pace...

My office partner wants to buy a gun.  After nearly 40 years of being gun-phobic, she's come to the light (and being threatened by a client's ex-husband).

She is not capable of firing a large caliber and the key for her is that it needs to be SMALL.

I am not a fan of the 22 for personal defence, but does anyone have any experience with the Taurus PT22 poly?

I like the idea of the tip up barrel for her.  Easy to chamber and unload.

Check out my oil filter forensics thread!                     Offended? Click here
"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

With the KSG as a Christmas present from my girlfriend, the collection is starting to come together nicely...  :)

From top to bottom:
Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308/7.62mm,
Sig Sauer M400 AR-15 .223/5.56mm,
(Left) Beretta PX-4 Storm .40S&W,
(Right) Keltec KSG 12ga pump shotgun,
Taurus Judge PD Poly .45LC/.410ga

nice collection! I'm looking to add the ksg to my home defense arsenal as well.
