Remington .308 bolt gun, Leupold  10x scope will do the trick.

ordered a Savage 11/111 Long Range Hunter in 7mm Rem Mag a couple of days ago.
Now it's time to find the glass to go with it.

Looking for someone with very good WWII pistol background to provide some guidance.  As part of an inheritance I now own a WWII FN HP 9mm (at least this the assumption that it is an 9mm apparently hasn't been fired since it arrived back here) with holster (German eagle and approprite other symbols stamped into the leather), I'm just looking to get an idea of it's value, so I can decide if I should investigate donating it to a museum or selling it.  I have pic's but I'd rather not post such poor examples here.

Cheers
Ducati ..... Ducati ..... Ducati ..... It just makes me smile!

Harley drivers in short/t-shirts/and salad bowls .... make me laugh.

IIRC...that is basically a Browning High Power ( if I am thinking of the same weapon)...and if that is in fact what it is...that is a keeper in my book!

FN commissioned John Browning to develop the pistol... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browning_Hi-Power

It has good value...$600 if it has the fixed rear site...and up to $900 with the tangent adjustable rear according to a quick search.

I'd keep it if it was an option.

You can photograph it and write down the numbers and write the Herstal factory and get an official provenance for it.

Good condition Nazi HP's sell for up to $800 in the US.  I've seen an unfired model go for $700 at auction and one that was used as an officer's weapon (came with holster with officer's name) and some other items for $1000.

There were a bunch of forgeries made in the early 80s when a lot of them came into the US.  Getting the provenance from the factory will help valuation.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
