We went for a ride yesterday.. I put on my new Bitubo steering damper and actually really enjoyed my ride..
It seemed to wash out most of the little stuff , but my suspension still sucks a$$.. I got one pair of forks in yesterday and the good full front end will be here monday.
But we hit S14 and went very smoothly for the most part.. It played with my head because its a totally different feeling.

Sunday and Monday looks good to ride on my end...Anyone south is welcome to join me in Santa Fe and head North. We can do some good rides up through Eagle Nest, Red River?

Maybe next weekend (Memorial Day Weekend) when many of us will have a three day weekend, J.J. I'll be racing Sunday, so I'm out for a Sunday ride this weekend.
How about a shot up the High Road to Taos, then either east or west on 64 from there? Anybody game?

Wouldn't that be the Superbike race weekend? All are headed to Utah I guess...I cannot make it this time. One of my favorite loops is High roads to Taos, Eagle Nest, Red River, Low roads back from Taos....Another possibility is High Roads to Taos, Back Lake, Mora, Angel Fire, Taos and back...Soon... [moto]
May do Crest on Sunday. Anyone else headed the Crest way or elsewhere?

I'd love to do either run up north with you but I'm not sure if this weekend is a good choice weatherwise....
