Are the cuts just to remove tabs and the like that you'll no longer need?

On the swing arm, yes. I cut the motor mounts, tank mounts, & seat mounts today. [thumbsup]

We received your tank back from welding and pressure test. It's in the body work stage now. Your wheel
is in line to be laced. Things look good, but too soon to give you a ship date just yet.

I've been lookin' around here: http://www.suzukisavage.com

There's a number of people posting about their Ryca builds to give me some more ideas. [evil]

Nice man!  Hey, are the lower fork sliders at Ryca?  If not, might be a good time to polish them.  Polishing aluminum is easy but a little messy.  It really gives a nice gleam to the bike.  Maybe the engine side cases too.  Unless you're going full on military and spraying the whole thing OD.

I wrapped the exhaust header today. [thumbsup]

Can't wait to see it!

For those who may be looking, a pretty good deal popped up on the local craigslist: http://medford.craigslist.org/mcy/2482442347.html

I got the frame and swing arm back from the painter. [thumbsup]

Now its time to put the engine back in.

Make sure you chase all the threaded holes while the frame is empty.  Lesson learned the hard way.

Ah, college days... chasing all the holes I could find.... wait... threaded holes.... what type of strange is that? I may need to get me some of that.
