Shiiiiiit... it ain't got no chickenstrips. Well actually, the only corners that bike has seen in the past few years has been the 2 trackdays I took her to. Before that, she lived a blissful life in Georgia, 45 minutes away from great mountain roads.

but thats not a dark paint. or at least im 99.99% sure from those photos its not a dark. it looks like gloss to me

They could have simply switched out the dark for a glossy black.

oh ok, i was comparing the 750 and the s2r. also the 750 was an 01 not 07.

def possibility, note that the front fairing is not standard on a dark, and the front fender is gloss as well. but the rear cowl was also not standard on a dark, which is missing in all the photos. who knows. either way its over priced IMO.

Personal pref: I'd go for the 1000 over the 750. Yes, it's all about size. Plus the 1000 has a power commander so the fueling should be good.

any thoughts on that 750 tho? would it be worth the $900 cheaper?

I have the same bike and it's good fun and easy to handle. However I found myself wanting more power soon (the bike has *only* 60 hp) but any mod would be silly expensive: big bore + high comp pistons, FCR carbs, plus some head work and you're talking $$$ 2.5 - 3K

I actually prefer carbs over FI, but still I would go with the 1000. If you really want to get a 750 I'll sell you mine for cheap and buy the 1000

looks promising, but i would offer him 4000 after a week or so.

when people say stuff like "i had a bunch of email and calls" i just figure its bullshit.  you still have it.
