wish you were looking a year ago, i have a near mint 06 s2r i was looking to sell last year, but have decided to keep it after buying lots of goodies for it when i got bored one day. Only reason id sell it would be to get a larger S*R.

maybe its time to upgrade

I believe they came in solid black. I might be confusing it with the 620.

yeah i saw the single swing arm but im still learning about the duc so i didnt say anything but i do love the single swing arms.


any thoughts on that 750 tho? would it be worth the $900 cheaper?

the swing arm is 100% the reason i bought an s2r over the "lower" models. its just super sexy and awesome.

im not sure where youre getting the 900$ figure from, but that does seem pretty steep for an 07 s2r. i bought mine for grand more then that when it was only 1.5 years old ($6700 in mint condition with 2k miles). im no price expert but it seems too high to me

I'm not aware they did, the stripe is sorta of a signature along with the Single Sided Swingarm, perhaps he had the tank replaced with a solid one on a Duc recall, I almost did that to mine. - Gene

Dark was solid black.

thheres no stripe on the front fairing either, and with no rear cowl, it makes me wonder. im probably just being paranoid tho.

Dark was solid black.

but thats not a dark paint. or at least im 99.99% sure from those photos its not a dark. it looks like gloss to me
