I saw one in Mexico two weeks ago and was impressed.  I liked the design very much.  But alas, I just bought a full size truck so it's purely window shopping for me.

This may have been asked before,

and I might presently be all whiskey-ed up.

But...

What about gray market?

First I've heard.  It would be wonderful -- a 4 cyl 2.5 L class engine would be perfect for most light truck use.  Mitsubishi's 4d56t (astron) engine pumps out close to 200 hp and 260ft/lbs with the turbo model using 2nd generation CRD.  If they have something that can produce 350 ft/lbs then it is definitely competitive.

I want the 3.8 they briefly mention, 443 lb-ft  of torque Evil
I'm sure that relatively low hp number can be easily remedied

I'd take it with the 4 banger.  For a work truck, a turbo diesel four banger will approach the stock performance of the V8

those photos are dated 1/26/2011.. i wonder how that project is coming along?
