E-brake didn't work. It's never worked.

Me and a good mechanic spent a few hours working over every aspect of it and...it still didn't work.

So....I pirated the fancy E-stopp off of my Chrysler and installed it because...it was there.

So now it's a fnacy electric thing with a cable equalizer.and push button activation.

Remember how I had the carpet for a manual before and it didn't fit? Front carpet for an automatic car turned up.

That didn't fit, either. Apparently modifying the floor made a difference. Who knew? No one could have known.

The rear half of the new carpet fit. I now have two spare front halves. I better save these for twenty years.

E-stopp is a 'lectric E-brake that yanks n the cables until it's good and set.

If you don't have a working one you don't get to pass inspection in the great state of Massachusetts, and thus are subject to meeting the authorities more than one would like.

Parking brake?

More of what it is really, IME they're not very well suited to what one would think an emergency brake is.

We used to call them emergency brakes before dual master cylinders.  More appropriately they are now called parking brakes though some people still call them emergency brakes.

E-stopp is a 'lectric E-brake that yanks n the cables until it's good and set.

Are they required if you have hot rod with modern brakes?

Video if the car running please!
