Motocreations Boomtubes on my 05 S4R. Can you see um?

How about now?

Nicest set I have ever seen, if I may say so myself!!! THANKS MOTOCREATIONS!! This bike runs awesome now. PCIII was added with custom maps. It is loud but not obnoxious.

No, but that flat center of your tire is pretty heinous. Find a corner now and then, brotha. laughingdp

IMO, nothing improves the looks of a Monster like getting the exhaust completely underneath the bike.  I wish my RR exhaust was as sleek as the boomtubes, but keeping the cans from blocking the rear tire sure looks swell.

Flat spot... No kidding, I'll attribute that to the three dyno runs  Grin. Honestly, I prefer twisties, just getting there is a flat run.

The exhaust I have on the bike right now is custom, but awaiting the production run that should be happening real soon. Those will be stainless, but have many color options...

Nope, I'm hoping to be rare for now. I have a feeling these will be popular!!!

Considering how long it took me to post the pics... I am working on sound blurbs or youtube on my days off...More to come...

Look good!  I'm still waiting to see a dyno graph on the S4Rs to see how much if any they loose over the shot-gun termi system.   I plan on building my own, but I'll wait and see if they are on par power wise with the termi's before I waste my time.

Any sound clips?  Could you compare it to something else, a harley perhaps?

We prototyped the S4R BoomTubes against Rick's Ducati Monster using what we have learned over the past few years in building them (and recent variations / simulation modeling we have done and validated).  He had a set of Zard's on there before.  He sold them and thus I did him a handmade set of BoomTubes identical to the units sent to manufacturing until production stainless steel are delivered. (We are hoping to do three variations of outlet tips)

Power / dyno?  We beat the Zard's he had on there on the first dyno pass with BoomTubes.  PCIII and very custom fuel map is required though for my exhaust systems.  It's why we are doing all the testing to build the maps for enthusiasts and will create baselines/variations for customers once we start shipping.

Ask Rick as to his before w/Zard's and after with BoomTubes experience.  Sound levels in-town and out in the country.  And his experiences after his MotoGP weekend at Laguna Seca.  (I wish I could reprint the e-mail he sent me -- it was great!)

Status?  Tooling is finished and we are awaiting the start of the production queue for the S4R and S4RS systems. (Others to follow)  Unfortunately my vendor is doing a 140K unit production run on the same assembly line mine are to be produced on and thus the delay we are experiencing.  I wanted BoomTubes to be built in the USA via CNC bending / CNC TIG welding methods -- I don't want to offshore produce them or sacrifice quality standards that I demand.

And BoomTubes do not sound at all like a Harley with straight pipes... not at all!

I'm still trying to get sound/video clips from all my BoomTubes customers over the years -- there is some evolvement as they went.  I'll just YouTube (like I did recently with my MotoCreations DesmoDevil bike) or post on my website when done.  We will video all the final production systems once they are installed and make available with dynocharts, etc.

I'm off to Chicago / EAA Oshkosh for the next week to have fun and more meetings (we got some carbonfiber parts happening soon!)

Was the bike custom mapped before the boom tubes?

Tell me about it.  Luckily, I have some "twisty methadone" 14 miles away, but to get to anyplace really fun (and NOT 115 degrees) is a couple hundred miles.

Keep up the good work. Really looking forward to hearing some  sound bites.  btw, is an M900 version in the works?  I loves me the looks of my RR pipes, but I'd really like something that sounds more like a Ducati.

Thats promising to hear, although the above bike isn't a Testa motor.  How about a dyno graph?
