Why does it feel much later in the week than Tuesday?

And I have to jump on a conference call with the overlords in a half hour. 

Got my homeowners insurance bill for the next year yesterday - 55% higher than last year.    Turns out they've got my townhouse classified incorrectly (HOA covers the structure).  Hopefully the new quote tomorrow is in line, but I believe I may have overpaid for the two prior years. 

Guess I picked the wrong month to not drink?

Bakery and library visits and a good long walk today in the relatively "warm" temps before the cold front moves in.


I saw a note on the counter my dad had written at some point yesterday about fixing someone's bayonet.  Panic set in (he does NOT need to be handling bayonets at the moment).  Then learned it was a book and author's name he had written down.  Whew.
