morning

Had the maiden voyage with our new, to us, little boat. Before you get any ideas...it's a very small hole in the water in which to throw money.

Went well...

until we ran out of gas.  [laugh] Yes I brought some...just not enough.

Guy pulls up alongside as I'm rowing and asks, ' are you rowing for pleasure?'  I answer 'nah, ran out of gas'. He then exclaims 'Nate!'

Turned out to be a shooting buddy. I didn't recognize him, or him me, initially. Towed us about 3 miles back to the landing. I'd likely still be paddling if not for good fortune. [thumbsup]

Morning/afternoon/evening, wherever you are.

Nice to have that serendipitous encounter with your friend Nate.

Back at the rental in CO. Dog is in MI.  Very weird and I don't like it all without him but house hunting and focus on work will get ratcheted up for the greater good.

Enjoy the day all.     [bacon] [bacon]

Did those oars suck as bad as they looked?

My arms were barely long enough to reach. :P

I think West sells them for that boat because they fit really well without infringing on the seating.

I may have a mechanical failure with that vintage outboard, but I will never run out of gas again.  ;)

Hello, all is well, to put it in a way ... Rain has slowed down a little, at least I can leave dogs outside a bit longer in the evenings...

Workwise, amazed on the laziness of most customers of not even trying to read the manual and do something by themselves; I am just following orders when I connect remotely and tell them what to do, they don't like it ... I tell them "so if this happens on a weekend, you are going to wait for us to get back to the office to solve the issue?" and a lot answer 'YES' ...

P, good to hear you are focused; DP, good thinking, mechanica OK running out of gas, NOT OK ...

Portu, hope everything went better than as planned ...

howie, hope wife is doing better

Interview went smooth.  We may have a minor paperwork deficiency, but the consulate will let us know soon.  Or, maybe we're good.

So far so good with Ellen.  Virtual visit with a cardio vascular neurologist today.  Got the OK for her to go back to physical therapy too.  One day at a time.

Morning. I have house guests. Is it bad that I wish they would go home? Leah and Dave are my good friends, but I don't know if it's the heat or what, but all they have done is argue.

Good luck to you all  [coffee] [coffee]
